It’s such a lovely shop and makes a visit to Tenterden well worth it. The staff are friendly and helpful and the furniture I ordered turned up on time and the delivery service and after sales support was great when I called with questions about what I had bought. A friendly family run business where the staff really shine! Would throughly recommend!!!

Avoid. I had an awful experience in this shop. The manager/owner was just so rude and inappropriate towards me. Stared me up and down and proceeded to to tell me that if I walked into her shop for an interview with tattoo's like that, she wouldn't employ me. Also queried why I would inflict pain on myself. On calling her out later on after leaving the shop and thinking on it she did apologise (with a smile on her face, so she didn't seem to take my concerns seriously), however this was very disingenuous I felt. She also stated that she thought she was having "banter" with me. Since when was having such prejudice views banter? Avoid this shop at all costs. Despite this the two ladies working in there were both friendly and professional. I feel sorry for them working under such unprofessional management and they actually seemed quite nervous around their manager. Such a shame.

I spent £2565 on a settee in this shop whilst I was visiting friends in Kent from where I live in a Lincoln. I have repeatedly asked Ingrid for an invoice for the settee. Initially, unknown to me, she gave an invoice to her delivery chap when he brought the settee to Lincoln on the 15th November. He forgot to give it to me. She told the driver she would email me another and he threw his away. I did ask Ingrid, the owner, for the fourth time, for the invoice and stated I would do a Google review detailing her abysmal customer service if I did not receive by yesterday. No invoice so here is her 1⭐️ review. How long does it take to copy the invoice and email to me? I hate to think what service you would get if you bought an item which had a fault. Lovely furniture and home furnishings and beautifully presented shop - apart from the dust around some objects. Pity about the somewhat patronising staff member - quite put us off. Maybe this was the woman other reviewers have mentioned.

Very interesting shop which sells excellent, unusual items. Prices vary according to quality and design. Lots of very nice furniture, the like of which you won't see in many shops. If you're looking for artwork then this is your shop too....also some expensive pictures which are limited editions and some which are just fun with prices in everyone's pockets. Exquisite pieces. The owner is to be found in the shop every day but Sunday! Her one day off. She is extremely knowledgeable about all the items in her store and she's very friendly, as are all the staff. A most enjoyable experience, once you go in you won't come out for several hours, you can totally get lost in the maze of rooms and staircases, it's almost like stepping back in time.....go there and go in - even if you just want to browse - I BET you find at least one thing you really want!! Enjoy.
